Marcus Linial
PRODUCER / BAND MANAGER

Marcus Linial is the founder of ML Presents (the parent company to Fun Music Presents) and was the former owner of many live music venues in NYC, including the very popular Shine and Canal Room which he closed down in 2014 after 15 years of business. He started his career as a promoter producing his very first few shows at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester NY. Back in 2001 he became a recording artist and was signed by Clive Davis for J Records and was managed by Johnny Wright (Brittany Spears, NSYNC, Justin Timberlake); the deal also landed him a spot as the opening act for O-Town on their 2001 summer tour. Marcus, who co-wrote his whole album with the help of producers PM Dawn, has played many roles in the music business as a venue owner, producer, writer, performer.

In 2008, Linial came up with the idea of doing an all 80s show and Back To The Eighties Show was created. With the help from Jessie's Girl, they have taken the show to a whole other level. The show plays to sold out weekly crowds in NYC and tours the country. He now produces the Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie's Girl and I Love The 90s with The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air at Le Poisson Rouge at 158 Bleecker St in NYC. One of Linial's strong suits is his personal relationships with many of the original iconic artists, such as MC Hammer, Colin Hay, Bret Michaels, Chris Barron, Naughty By Nature, Debbie Gibson and Tiffany, just to name a few; he often has these artists and icons perform with his bands. His shows play in such prestigious venues such as The Capitol Theatre, Rams Head Live, Baltimore, The National in VA, World Cafe Live in Philly and Delaware, The Paramount Theatre in LI. Linial's reputation for only producing the best shows has helped him solidify deals with companies like Google, The NFL, Coca Cola, Brightstar Corp, Wheels Up, Marquis Jet, Spanx, and CMJ Underwriters. ML Presents is based in DUMBO, Brooklyn. His biggest pride and joy is his family - his wife Melanie and their two children, Benjamin and Summer. He is also very passionate about Italian ices (his favorite is Rocco's in NYC).
